When you see how awesome creating a Signature System can be for you and your business, it’s tempting to dive straight in and start creating your very own.

However, there are a few things you need to get clear on before you get started. Here they are.

1. Your Zone of Genius

First thing you need to get clear on is your Zone fo Genius.

How do you work best? What is in your natural flow? What do you have a talent for?

My Zone of Genius is extracting someone’s intellectual property and turning it into a Signature System using Visual Models.

2. Your Ideal Client

Who’s your ideal client?

I’m not talking about demographics. Not “A woman between the age of 45-60”. Think of a specific client that you love to work with. If you could clone that client and only work with them for the rest of your business, you’d do it in a heart beat.

3. The Why Stack

Then, the next thing to get clear on:

What are your clients’ top three problems?

What are your clients’ top three wants?

What is their greatest fear and greatest hope?

Write them out as a list.

Pro tip – use their language. Don’t try and translate it into your own words.

4. Outcome

Now you’ve got your clients problems and wants, it should be easy to work out what products or services you can provide that your clients will pay you for.

5. Branding

Last, but not least, you need to be clear on your branding.

What are your brand colours?

What are your brand fonts?

What is your brand feeling or essence?

These wil help you to actually create visual models that are on brand.
